CT Scans

GE EVO 770 CT Scanner

CT Scans are available in the modular building adjacent to the Emergency Department entrance.

A CT scan can be used to visualize nearly all parts of the body and has many beneficial uses. It can quickly identify internal injuries from a car accident or other types of trauma. It can be used to determine whether a patient has had a stroke, and what type it was, so that appropriate medication can be given as soon as possible, minimizing the risk of brain damage. Low Dose CT scans are also used to identify the beginning stages of smoking-related lung cancers.

Mammograms

Our mammography suite features 3D mammogram equipment, highly trained staff, and is geared to meet the needs of all women obtaining their annual mammogram: high quality, fast, comfortable, timely, and close to home. This advanced technology provides significantly more accurate results and fewer false positives than digital mammograms. Mammograms are recommended on an annual basis for women 40 years and older, to detect signs of breast cancer as early as possible when treatment can be more successful.
